This is the third LEGO model of a Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser and the second miniature version.When the Republic was transformed into the Galactic Empire, These cruisers were replaced by the Imperial Star Destroyers. The Venator-class could also land on the surface of a planet to deploy troops and ground vehicles.
The ship could also open at the middle, splitting the dark red streak that went through it, to accommodate large or important ships. The Star Destroyers were designed mainly for space combat, with heavy turbolasers and wide hangar bays to release ships. The Star Destroyer could also carry several Republic Gunships. They measured a massive 1,137 meters long and were able to carry 190 V-Wing or V-19 Torrent starfighters, 192 Jedi Interceptors and at least 36 ARC-170 starfighters. The Venator-class Star Destroyers are the flagships of the Republic fleet. A triangular indentation on each side separates the back section from the front and gives the ship a unique appearance. The bridge rises above the ship and is represented by a binoculars piece. The engines are four dark grey tubes with transparent light blue 1x1 studs on the tip for the fire in the back.
